Using UMS through second router
Hey guys! I have an issue with using UMS, I can't find my PS4 after i did some setup changes on my home network, I'll try to explain.
My "main" router which is provided by my ISP has to be used because of reasons, this router is shit so I use an ASUS RT66N "Dark Knight" router to handle my wireless. My desktop computer is connected to the ISP router (Zyxel thingy) and is given a static IP adress because I need to be able to open ports for online gaming. The PS4 is connected by cable to the RT66, which again is connected to my ISP router by cable. This is where my knowledge runs out, I'm guessing the RT66 is getting an IP adress from DHCP? and therefore might be on a different gateway or something?
My desktop computer has a 10.0.0 IP adress and my PS4 has an 192.168 IP adress.
Hoping for some useful tips here! Thanks
