TV doesn't see UMS
I have just purchased a new Panasonic smart TV and a new Yamaha A/V receiver with wireless. The first time I set up UMS the TV recognised my PC, my Laptop and UMS. I have 3 logical drives shared from within UMS and all 3 showed under UMS on the TV. Only one dive appears via the PC icon on the TV and the UMS icon has not been seen by the TV since that first session. I've reinstalled UMS and it appeared on the TV again for a single session only. Can anyone tell me why it disappears after the initial session? Can this be resolved so it stays visible to the TV? Martin

Ums not showing is usually a firewall issue. If you installed ums as a service then you need to open additional firewall ports - see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8461
Check windows services to see if ums is still present. You can remove it using the ums menu.
