Browser playback controls and Web folder

Post by bobzbobz »

Hi

I have 2 questions/problems.

1. I want to stream content from a dedicated UMS-server to a browser on a different device.
I can stream the content, but the playback controls (jump in video, forward, rewind etc.) are not working.

2. I can see a folder called "Web" in the folder-tree to the left - how do I remove this??
We are gonna use the server to stream recorded TV material on a school and I dont want material like Akihabaranews, 08 台北遊 etc., that I dont even know what is.

Regards.

1. It's hard to tell when you don't provide any logs, please follow the Problem Reporting Guidelines
One thing you can try is to go in #--transocde--# folder and try some of the options there. No encode (preferrable), ffmpeg or mencoder.

2. You can disbale the Web folder by unticking the "Enable External Network" on the "General Configuration"-tab.

You could also try force some of the other renderer/device configs onto the TV (for an example the Samsung J, or SonyBraviaXBR)
