Possible recent mkv bug..

Post by Gareee »

Since the unsenet post frankenweenie 1080p chd is new, I'm not sure if its a legacy playback bug or a new one.

The original file will not play at all, giving me a error 500 bug. Sometimes problem files like these work if I re encode with handbrake, so I re encoded with handbrake at default settings (mkv) and the resulting file has stuttering video. (This is with 2.2.4, updated from 2.2.3 on a ps3 slim)

Is this something new, or something I need to adjust settings for? I can't recall an mkv that has not worked in quite some time now.

It seems like there are problems with the file, its framerate is being detected as 90000 (which is obviously not right, it should be 23.976fps)
We have a new version of UMS coming out either today or tomorrow and the bug might have been fixed, I don't know. An updated debug log from that version would be useful anyway if it isn't fixed.
