Erratic Behavior streaming to PS3
Hi guys !
Normally, when I was playing my files to PS3, I'd get it converted to AVC, but since version 6.4 or 6.3, I'm always getting MPEG2.
Issue is quality of video and bitrate of the stream. I believe that h.264 is more efficient than MPEG2.
And now with h.265 files in 720p,1080p and 4K, believe it is more important than ever, otherwise, even with gigabit Ethernet, I won't be able to stream
I'm attaching the UMS log, playing a normal h.264 file "Marvels Agent of Shield", h.265 file "Enterprise" and 3 4k h.265 files "DeadPool", "Fury" and "Revenant"
There you can see it always streaming MPEG2 in mencoder and ffmepeg, and sometimes not playing at all, especially with subtitles
Help guys, lets check PS3 conf file to make it better, or kill the bug in the amazing UMS !
