If you are interested i made an other renderer for your serie that should be even better, with less CPU use.

By the way, is this one work as expected for you with your "Kingsman" movie ?

is there a way to "preload" or buffer more frames at the start?

If you are transcoding then yes, you can simply start the movie and then pause it.
You should see the buffer load bar slowly getting larger in UMS status tab

your new renderer reduce the "lag/loading" Time but not on a good level AND the voice is not synchron anymore.

i would be happy, if u try another one.

I hope that you use FFmpeg video engine as your first choice, as MEncoder is not really reliable, IMHO.

I don't really understand "not on a good level" ?
Your A/V synchro issue appear only with some files or all of them ? Which kind of files ?

looks good! Kingsmen works =) no issues.
i ll try more movies in the next days but i seems to work !!!

i mean with "good level" good enough to watch. kingsmen was asynchron but now it works fine.

and yes i use FFmpeg first
