Two equal captions and image that slows down.

Hi, I installed UMS, with Debian Jessie. I have an Intel i5 micro. The connection is by wifi and by ethernet through the router. I have installed all codecs other than the image slows down I get two subtitles. Vlc running first on the list. I tried MEncoder, FFmpeg and tsMuxer and they are worse. What can I do, I tried to disable the subtitles in vlc and I still get two subtitles equal. Surely the machine is working too hard to stick them. Thanks for your reply.
