ETHERNET ERROR IN LOG PLEASE HELP

I assume that UMS uses the same or near identical to PS3 Media server but I have never been able to get this software to communicate with any of my devices. Below is the error that I am getting an would appreciate some help because I hate PLEX and want this to work. Thanks.

10:09:06 ERROR A serious error occurred during Universal Media Server initialization: Ethernet XXX.XXX.X.XX (not sure if it is safe to post that)

@common763 Don't do that !!! It'll be very dangerous for you...
