LG WebOS (SJ850T) "this file cannot be recognised"
Hi All,
So I bought a new 4K panel to replace my aging samsung and I am having some issues playing some content. Some 1080 content wont play and nearly all 4K content wont play. I get the message "this file cannot be recognised" and refuses to play.
I have done a clean install and upgraded to the latest 6.8.0 and the issue still remains. Also UMS also shows the TV as two separate devices, which is weird. Both devices are using "LG-WebOS.conf" on both.
Services on one: AVTransport, ConnectionManager, RenderingControl
Services on two: webos-second-screen-3000-3001
I have included screenshot for this.
So attached is the trace logs and if anyone has got any advice, would love to hear it.
Thanks, Andy.

Re: LG WebOS (SJ850T) "this file cannot be recognised"
I think, I am 99% sure I solved this.
I took a copy of the config from Samsung JU6400 (which I knew worked with my modern Samsung) and modified the UserAgentSearch and UpnpDetailsSearch with "d{2}SJ850T", then updated the RenderName/RenderIcon values then saved it as LG-SJ850T in the Renderers directory.
And restarted UMS, and my issues with my TV are gone.
Except I still see another "TV" with the same name under Status, but it works.
Not the best way, but it works.
