Transcode 4k UHD

Post by Jabez76 »

HI there I am new to this forum.

I have maybe a simple question.

If I have a movie file....see below for details.

And it is on my pc , and I stream it to my Sony Bravia A9F | MASTER Series | OLED | 4K Ultra HD | High Dynamic Range (HDR)

How do I know if it will produce the same video/image quality, and NOT transcode it to something else?

And this question goes for all other 4k UHD movies that I will "purchase via download"

Audio will be player via 7.1.2ch Dolby Atmos/DTS:X TM Soundbar with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth technology |HT-ST5000

Will this audio also be lost or upscaled?
