New Samsung TV - most files unsupported

Upgraded our TV from an old 8 year old LG to a Samsung QA55Q6, our 2nd TV does not appear to have issues but this is a cheap soniq TV.

Since this we cannot play most files, the come up with an unsupported format error or an audio format error and the video plays but no audio.

Attached are debug logs after trying top open 2 video files, both happen to be .avi however we have watched a few .mkv without issue. I only selected the Samsung Q6 renderer today, previously it was on the default unknown renderer.

Can you try selecting other renderers to see if any of those profiles work better?

All have the same result

I'd like to know as well as I've got the same problem... But I think there are compatibilty issues with some functions of the .mkv files, as for example, those with multi-language subtitles don't work on my TV while the ones with hardsubs and the ones with soft subs in only one language do work fine.
