Version 9.8.0 released

Post by SubJunk » Mon Jul 27, 2020 6:17 pm

General:

This release improves support for common video files, reduces CPU use and load times, improves security, and more!

The v9 releases will continue for bugfixes and renderer support updates, and soon we will release the first pre-release for v10 which improves, stabilizes and extends our metadata, allowing for things like recommendations, genres, ratings from major sources, etc.

Download:

Windows, macOS and Linux: Our front page or our official mirrors
Docker: docker pull universalmediaserver/ums

Well, in this case here we go with another positive post from me ;)

Guys, you are miles away from some of your competitors and this is the reason why I switched to UMS. Thank you.

Keep up the good work guys and hope that you will keep on supporting Windows 7 :P
