The Web Player does not work: am I missing settings?

Post by carpler »

If I try to play a video via the web player, most of the time it takes a long time for the video to start (as if it had to fill a cache first).
If, on the other hand, playback starts immediately, it often stops after a short time and remains 'loading'.
I tried avi files (SD resolution) and mkv (HD resolution). The HD file never started (at least after 5 minutes).
Are there any settings I need to set?
UMS version 13.5.0.

Thank you for the answer!
With UMS I give up. Too many problems.
In addition to the Web Player not working, I realised (which is much more serious) that the programme does not detect all the video files in the set folder.
I'm going back to the old dlna software that didn't give any problems.
Thanks anyway for the support.
