permanently start with program-ui only (no additional web-ui window)

Where do you set the setting for having only the program's main window appear when starting UMS?

Starting UMS there are always 2 windows popping up, the main window (program-ui = "old settings") and the web-ui (browser-window). I would like to have only the main window opened but haven't found any setting doing that.

I use UMS 13.8.1

You can turn off the autostart of the web UI in the settings.

There were a few versions of V13 where this setting did not save so might be worth updating is this does not work.


To stop the old UI showing on startup you can select start minimised to tray.

The web UI is the main focus for updates and is very unlikely the old GUI will be updated as apparently Java UI is a pain to change.
This also allows configuration on headless installs without manually editing the conf files, and ability to do it from a remote computer.
