250k downloads on Docker Hub

We recently exceeded 250k downloads on Docker Hub!

We also support installing via Brew, Chocolatey, and AppImage, as well as our manual release files. We want you to have the freedom to use your preferred package manager.

Are there any others you want us to support?

This is great - but I use UMS on my PC, and would like to run it on my Synology 423+ NAS (DSM 7.2.2).

I have been able to install it, but cannot get UMS to be visible on my LAN (maybe something I don't understand about Docker and networking/bridging etc), and cannot I sort out configuring UMS on my NAS.....

I have spend many frustrated hours trying all sorts of things suggested on the internet, much of it conflicting, but Docker seems to be completely differently on each host - lots of info just does not seem to to apply to my NAS host's way of doing things....

If someone has a new definitive guide to get UMS running on Synology DSM 7.2.2 (with the latest "container manager"), I'd love to try it again......

Indeed - the Docker concept is OK, but flawed because every installation is different and requires detailed knowledge of the nuances of each environment in order to get the images to work. I have read tons of "expert" articles saying "all you do is X & Y" and none of it seems to be applicable!
