Here is a new long awaited 2.20 of Channels. It makes use of more url resolvers and resume functionallity plus a whole bunch of misc bugs.

Thanks for the update.

The pmsencoder download/install still fails.

But now it's not even possible to download "pmsencoder-1.6.3.jar" manually and place it in the "plugins" directory... so it's impossible to install the pluging through the "Plugins" tab... also in this tab the version is still "2.19" for Channels.

Thanks, the download part is working now, all the files are downloaded correctly (although I had to click "Download and Install selected plugin" a second time as it failed while downloading one of the /scripts, but on second try it worked fine).

After downloading the files it does not automatically launch the install of Channels and also it downloaded the 2.19 version (which seems normal as it is still the version showing in the plugins list), so I've manually downloaded the 2.20 .jar and placed it in the plugins directory (and deleted the 2.19 which was downloaded through the GUI). Then I've restarted UMS (so that the "Channels" button would show under the installed plugins), and used the "Install/Update" button from the Channels GUI. Everything went fine without any error in the log. But when I try to play any video from the YouTube channel my renderer says it is unable to open the video instantly. The related Trace log in UMS is the following:

If I try playing a video from the "ZDF" Channel it works (only in VLC though, my other video players apps on my Android device do not seems to be able to decode the stream).

As always SH, thanks for all the work. Looking forward to trying it out, will let you know anything I come upon. Don't guess any of the stuff I reported on the past versions much matters anymore but just reporting things I thought you would want to know. I guess I am a little behind as I was waiting for the UMS Plugin GUI Install menu to refresh the version of channels available. Never saw it move past 2.19.

Anyway, thanks for another upgrade and thanks for a fantastic product!
