audiostream format (internet radio)

Post by Fiddl3 »

On my Sony Bravia TV when i try to play an internet radio stream the sound is in LPCM format, station list is displayed correctly, but when i try to play one I hear only white noice, the same thing happens when i play wav file. I think that TV software is the problem.
My question is: Is it possible to transcode stream to mp3?

#EDIT#
In PMS FFmpeg Web Audio transcode files to format whith id set in "TranscodeAudio" (Renderer profile {BraviaW.conf}), when i set MP3 format, everything works fine, but in UMS there is only VLC Web Audio in transoding settigs...

PS:
My TV model: Sony Bravia KDL-42W655A
