Re: About the transfer to and the use of metadata (all media) by the renderers

Hi,
Thanks for this quick answer which adds a lot of important informations.
It remains some details for which I will have complementary questions. I will send to you a message into the next ten days about this.
First of all, if I add some references and explanations it is not because I imagine that you don't know about, but there are two purposes :
- be readable by somebody else
- group elements and references of this study "this book" which can be used as references, notices for a re-structured conversations (group themes, questions, problems, purposes, hypothesis etc.).
The XMP block size of data (utf-8 encoded) can be 64Ko this is widely sufficient (in XMP specifications vol 3 - https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/ ... nPart3.pdf).
I will go on the subject, following this way :
Sometimes I will ask probably some detailed questions to you.
Best regards
Trebly

I will go on the subject, following this way :
- - answer to this last message on some points which needs explanations (when again I have not been sufficiently clear and that it is necessary to write a "reformulation")
- - for my own : develop on my internet site the concept of encapsulated metadata block (inside XMP) to give instruction to renderer on how display metadata. For this I will write the renderer in the php-javascript context. This is the best way to explain my ideas about this.
- - go inside the didl specifications and develop principles of simple transactions between UMS and my renderer.
Sometimes I will ask probably some detailed questions to you.
Best regards
