It's strange, but it's in 14.1. It happens immediately quick right after start, when playback is pressed. In the web interface files are playing but stutters with strange square artifacts with the "Ffmpeg" encoder, like the same on the console when this engine is chosen. I think it's good to make an autoselection of "mencoder" for this format.

Can you please post logs? I have a PS3 and it works for me so it might be a setting

I had a quick look and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

That avi file should play as it is being streamed, unless has been encoded in a different way. Was this file playing normally on a previous version?

There is a setting I have not seen before in your UMS.conf file and I believe it is related to a switch in one of the networking dependencies.

Looking in the web settings it is "JUPnP DIDL Lite (beta)" and as this is a beta it could be buggy.

Try and turn this off and see if this fixes it.

Turned off, no, if only it was this setting for now.... Seems to be very strange.
