I tried to narrow down the error but as your UMS has been upgraded from an old version it also has a lot of log spam to go though due to one of the settings.

I suggest doing a clean install of UMS leaving the settings at default. You can keep the SHARED.conf and copy that back so you don't need to set up the shared folders again.
If Firefox is still unable to play anything on the remote computer then it could be some firewall or networking problem.
Create new logs if this happens and it should be easier to see the cause.

If it does start working the you can try changing the settings back to what you had one at a time and see if any break it, might be something stupid like the server name change.

There was also an error from the database upgrade so this may also be a factor so a new install will fix this.

Code: Select all

ERROR 2025-02-04 16:03:03.041 [main] net.pms.database.MediaDatabase Error checking tables: Syntax error in SQL statement "ALTER TABLE AUDIOTRACKS RENAME CONSTRAINT [*]IF EXISTS PKAUDIO TO AUDIOTRACKS_PK"; expected "identifier"; SQL statement:
ALTER TABLE AUDIOTRACKS RENAME CONSTRAINT IF EXISTS PKAUDIO TO AUDIOTRACKS_PK [42001-232]

Thanks for the suggestion.

I went a bit further and deleted anything related to UMS and went through a process of installing & verifying, one at a time, ver 9.8.0, 14.8.0 & 14.9.0, all working as they should.

It appears my initial install of 14.9.0 was corrupted or misconfigured in some way.

All working now.

Thanks again for your assistance.
