They would have to look at the logs and see why it is transcoding when it can play without.

Its not a bug, its just the conf not being perfect for that TV and the format of the video.
I'm not even sure if an external sub file will work for a video with internal PGS subs as the TV might not even look for them.
This can be device specific and I cannot test this to confirm.
