I have a new H6400 and most of the time thumbnails don't show. It seems to be only on certain files and it is quite random. UMS detects the TV as "Samsung AllShare", but I was wondering what the difference was between that and "Samsung AllShare C/D" and "Samsung LED TV" and all the other Samsung models listed... Also I think I am a bit daft but where do I find the Samsung Allshare.conf files?

Hi wongnog, I've added a config for your renderer to the upcoming version of UMS. You can preview it by placing the attached renderer config into your renderers folder, which is usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media Server\renderers\

Thanks @SubJunk! Do you think this will work on a 2014 model Samsung BD-H6500 blu-ray player? Also can I use this renderer with UMS 5.0alpha or 5.0beta?

It should work on 5.0.0-b1 too

If you give me logs for H6500 I can make a config for that too. They are all pretty similar but in general the newer devices support more formats natively, so it can be worth making separate configs for each one.

Cool, I've added support for it in the upcoming 5.0.0 release
