Re: Average Bitrate and a Seperate Question
SH,
Maybe I did something wrong....
I am testing a 5.0.0-a2 build at commit e12d7768c that SJ built for another user. I set live_subtitles_timeout = 1 in the config file. However, the subtitles generated by FFmpeg are still not removed until they are 2 weeks old.
Interesting new interface by the way! Freaked me out at first.

Re: Average Bitrate and a Seperate Question
Madoka - Nope those are not "live subs" in the sense that they are converted by ffmpeg afterwards. They will use the default value of 2 weeks. I can have a look and see if we can apply the same tmo values.
Interesting as in "wow this looks cool" or as in "wtf dude!"?

Re: Average Bitrate and a Seperate Question
SH,
It would be nice if the same value would apply to FFmpeg generated subs as well. As everything I watch has subtitles, FFmpeg generates a lot of subtitles which I no longer need after 2 weeks. And if I were to need them again FFmpeg can just make them again.
LOL, to be honest when I first saw it, I did have a WTF? reaction. But as I used UMS more and saw what it was doing, there's a lot more useful information on there, so I think it's the better front page for UMS. Nice work!
