@SharkHunter

Is there a list of what updates were made from 2.0.7 to 2.1.1?

List of non-working channels (I'm using the latest channel files):

1Channel - The links come up as folders and you can't open them.
ARD - No links in folders.
Cuevana - No links in folders.
EZTV - Links don't work when you can find something (most shows seem to have empty folders).
IceFilms - It will list things, but no links in folders.
Kanal5 - No links in folders.
Movie2k - Links don't play.
Muzu - Doesn't work.
NZB - Doesn't work.
RTMPGUI - No RTMP links anymore in the alphabetical folders.
RTMPLists - Folders will load links sometimes. Blackoutworms list is empty (nothing lists at all in the alphabetical folders).
TPB - No links in folders.
Tube+ - No links in folders.
TV4 - No links in folders.
Watchseries.eu - No links in folders.
Youtube - When trying to play a link from a subscription folder it says "corrupted data" even tho I have PMSEncoder set to off and am not using it.
Veetle - No links (nothing to choose from).
Zattoo - No links.

Do you plan on updating the channel files soon? Most of the ones I try to use don't seem to work properly anymore. ;(

Sometimes it goes faster than it should do. But now 2.12 found it's way on to the web. Find it here until we update the installer http://code.google.com/p/sharkhunter-shb/downloads/list

Main things

* Updates of sub_conv handling
* Added embeded matcher
* Removed SMIConv (now uses embed matcher)
* New viasat
* Fetch channels/scripts from git rather than zip file

There are some channels that has been updated. Some channels have never worked (like NZB,Muzu etc.), others have been neglected by me. There are too many to keep up with them all.

I'm confused though. What's the point of updating the plugin if you're going to leave most of the channels outdated and not working properly?

I just updated to the latest build and made sure I had the newest channel files and I'm still having the same issues. Most channels just don't work and Youtube still gives me the same error.

Lets take this in the Channels thread and start by uploading debug logs...

Hi,

Updated to 2.14.

Main new stuff is the support for "bad" link detection. If a "bad" link is found the UMS red X will be played as the movie (instead of the video that wasn't there).

Hi,

Updated to 2.16.

Main fetature is a "brviafy" subtitles. BRAVIA have some issues with scaling. I so far gotten any 100% fix. The remaining problem is that one line of the subs are just outside the screen.
The fix is to add one "empty" line at the bottom which is the not seen.

This is only used on BRAVIA and if "channels.bravia_subs=true" (dafult). If you have ANY problems add
channels.bravia_subs=false to UMS.conf and the BRAVIA subs is completely disabled.

My system crashed and I have been meaning to upgrade it so have been offline doing so for some time now. Need to install latest UMS and Channels versions, excited to see how far everything has come and glad to be back. Looks like a lot of work has been done, as always it is much appreciated.

To verify latest versions t be used - UMS-2.4.2 with tv_plug_216.jar and channels_211.zip?

For all those in sweden I've updated Tv4 (it now works with logins if you got premium)...
For those of you using 2.12 or later just update the channels.
