I got 2 MacBooks Pro (one from 2010 and one from 2014 - both have the latest OS X version) and when I run UMS on both they both see my TV, but my TV sees only one of them... If I can post some logs/java version/whatever to help solve this issue, let me know.

Hi there, sorry to dig up a bit of an old thread. But I am new to UMS (and loving it) and I'm having a similar problem with my TV.
It works great on my Xbone, but only works sometimes on my TV(that is in a different room). I have the latest version of UMS, and I rolled back my Java also to 7.something, that seems to have helped a little with the frequency of the server showing up on the TV.
Sometimes I also have to click the restart server button to get it to show up, which is kind of a hassle seeing as the computer is in a different room in the house. Other times it just wont show up at all. Not sure if you guys have a solution or not but any tips or advice would be handy.

I first want to apologize for my bad English.
For people looking for answer to this problem, you can try to uninstall previous versions of Java with CCleaner.I did and now UMS is running on JAVA 8.
