For another issue, i watch a lot of RMVB videos and when it transcode the video and audio is always 3-4 seconds out of sync. Any advise how I can fix this?

watching the same RMVB files on my Pioneer Kuro TV doesn't have this issue so I don't think it is my computer is not transcode fast enough.

In log there is no info that you tried to play AVI file. Also how you changed x-divx and x-msvideo when in zip is only one log?
You need to edit Panasonic.conf file and restart UMS (not from UMS GUI!), make log - backup it, again change conf file and restart UMS. Make log and upload both.
It seems you don't know exactly what we need to test and exactly how so please attach also changed Panasonic conf file with every debug.log so we can check if you changed what should be changed and in right way.
Many thanks!

We both lost the time 8-)
I hate big companies.Don't understand why they removed(didn't implemented) XVID/DivX (AVI) support totally
From official site:

Code: Select all

AVCHD 3D / Progressive, SD-VIDEO / MotionJPEG (Lumix) / MKV / MP4 / MOV / M4v / FLV / 3GPP / VRO / VOB / TS / PS, MP3 / AAC / FLAC, JPEG / MPO
Check site 80:
http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMAN ... P_UT50.PDF
There is no DivX support so comment whole "Supported = f:avi|divx ....." with "#" sign.
UMS will then transcode these files to MPEG2 so it will be supported by your TV.
On the other hand, your TV supports MKV natively, so you can try changing this line in Panasonic conf:

Code: Select all

StreamExtensions=mkv
It should stream MKV natively without using tsMuxeR for remuxing. Don't forget every change require UMS restart (restart not from GUI, you need stop and start UMS again)

Please can you also test something for us? At last remove Panasonic.conf file totally (rename .conf extension to .bak etc.) so UMS will log how TV is announced because it will be unknown:

Code: Select all

Matched media renderer "Panasonic TV" based on header "User-Agent: Panasonic MIL DLNA CP UPnP/1.0 DLNADOC/1.50"
It will help us to tune "User-Agent" detection for different Panasonic models (but I think different models have same agent used so we can't make different renderer confs for different PanTVs :| )
Thx

what i notice for rmvb play back is the audio from my pioneer receiver would cut in and out causing the out of sync.

Attached is the working conf file with ExSport suggestion. If it can be included in the next release that would be great.

I don't have any RMVB files so can't help.
Your conf file should not be used globally because there are lot of Panasonic TV from 2010-2012 which supports AVI (DivX/XviD) but doesn't support MKV.
Your case is opposite so your "special" config file will not work well for majority of Panasonic TV users.
Unfortunately it seems your TV announces itself same way as other Panasonic TV so we can't differentiate different PanTV models:

Code: Select all

INFO 2013-01-26 12:28:38.109 [New I/O server worker #1-1] Media renderer was not recognized. Possible identifying HTTP headers: User-Agent: Panasonic MIL DLNA CP UPnP/1.0 DLNADOC/1.50, X-PANASONIC-DMP-Profile: "", X-PANASONIC-Registration: VklFUkEgVVQ1MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA=

About the RMVB ask SubJunk. It seems there is no good support for this format and maybe "ffmpeg_MPGMUX.exe" is outdated.
Now I see this remuxer is not used for RM files???? I found MEncoder was used only and generated some errors:

Not sure which Panasonic tv support divx but I checked the LCD/LED 2012 and the 2011 Panasonic plasma and they have the same format as the 2012 plasma model.
