I don't see any attempted mkv playback in that debug log, just DVD. Our DVD support is pretty hit-or-miss in my experience because of MPlayer's poor support for them. By the way I updated the Showtime 4 config which is hopefully better for mkv support:

Improving DVD support is on my to-do list, as is adding blu-ray support.

You might benefit from selecting the clean install option in the installer, because I notice you have a larger-than-recommended buffer size. Maybe there are other options that are causing problems for you so I recommend making a backup of C:/ProgramData/UMS and doing a clean install to see if that helps.

Tried everything but still having problems. Also with mkv files.
Showtime is recognised and the root and all the files are shown but nothing plays.
I stick to UMS 2.40 in combination with Showtime 4.1.419 for the moment.
Only issue there (also directly in PS3 mediaserver) 1080P mkv stutter.
Looks like a buffer problem. For this issue there is a topic already so I stay tuned on that one.
