hi i think it could be a ps3 software update problem and i have noticed that a lots of people are having troubles with ps3 in many ways with these past ums versions. i 've tested this build on the ps4 its working fine with any types of files vĂdeos and sounds files as well without disconnect once. when i used the ps3 media server that was identical to the ums years ago i didn t have those problems at all ps3 is a very old system maybe its starting to show some limitations in terms software compatibility and hardware as well.

The thing is though is initially upon first starting UMS a DTS encoded movie will play, it just won't play the next video without having to close and reopen UMS again.

If you can't reproduce it then there must be something wrong on my end, either my computer or my PS3 finally giving up the ghost. Believe it or not I still have the 1st edition PS3 so it crapping out on me wouldn't surprise me all that much.

So I am now 100% convinced this problem is related to Windows 10. My computer was having issues unrelated to this and was out of commision for a short time. In that time I used an old laptop running Windows 7, which had no issues playing files encoded with DTS back to back, up to 10 files in a row.

Hmm that might be why I haven't been able to reproduce it
