i would like that on the next versions have more text boxes explainning or at least giving a context on the options avaliable i noticed that some don't have nothing of course a few of them are easy to understand but there are others that i don't have any idea what they do so i leave them on the default as they come on the clean install. i'll be glad is this could be updated on the future.

hi to help this guys i've tested the 6.3.2 on my Philips hdtv 47pfl8008 rolling about a little more than 20 minutes watching a no doubt concert. its working fine did not disconnect at all and its also working fine on ps4 media player as well. here's the log to prove that.

my guess is these new versions of ums must have some issues with a few especific brands and models of tvs.
to add a little more details i was using wifi n on networking connection my laptop is with Windows 10 64bits using java 8.91 in 64 bits as well.

У меня взломанная PS3 REBUG 4.80.1 CFW скачиваю фильмы MKV (H264) поток по WiFi через программу для PS3 ( movian-5.0.240.pkg)
Проблема заключается в том что смотришь 10-15 минут позже перезагружается movian .
Пробовал поток WiFi на прямую через PS3 работает хорошо , но звуковую дорожку нельзя поменять ! а вот через программу movian можно.
Исправьте пожалуйста ! , я замучился за целый год .

I hacked PS3 REBUG 4.80.1 CFW downloading movies MKV (H264) stream over WiFi via the program for PS3 movian-5.0.240.pkg.
The problem is that you look for 10-15 minutes later reloaded (movian-5.0.240.pkg).
Tried WiFi to stream directly through the PS3 works well, but the sound track can not be changed! but through movian program possible.
Please correct ! I was tortured for a whole year.

I have tested this UMS version with the latest PS4 media player update. it works great. Here is my post from the other thread:

Sony has released today 2.0 update for the PS4 media player.

Accessibility features have been added.
It now supports more formats. (MPEG2-PS, MPEG4)

This update is huge. MPEG1, 2 and 4 files (and most other formats) can be fast forwarded now. Fast forwarding works even if the transcoded file has subtitles.
I was waiting for this since sony has announced that PS4 will have a media player. I can retire my PS3 now.

i have tested too its Works really well i was kind of surprised the last update i think was last year but looks very good and seems fine so far with the ums 6.3.2.
they implemented this new features as the guy above said and looks very nice clean image and sound.

Wow, 2.0 is really nice. As mentioned above, the PS4 now "knows" how long transcoded videos are so FF/RW is possible. You can now stop and resume the video if you don't turn off the PS4 (even if you don't resume on in UMS). That and the ability to play mkvs may make me retire the PS3 as my main renderer. One minor irritating thing, the PS4 does not respect the order of my folders unlike the PS3.

There seems to be one issue. UMS is being disconnected from my PS4 around every 40 mins. Anyone else experiencing this?

i tested to help you watching a movie the finest hours from the start to end about 1 hour and 57 minutes and didn't disconnect once is working fine for me.

here's my log to prove.

its working fine for me as you can see must be something over there maybe you should check whats wrong.
my ps4 is connected direct to the modem using lan cable my laptop is with Windows 10 64 bits, with java 8.91 also in 64 bits and on ps4 the media player is with update 2.00.
