Re: Help us improve support for your devices
HI,
Ums is an excellent media server but unfortunately doesn't have my Sony KD-55X7000e profile. The Tv is recognized but I'm unable to connect to the server. Attaching the required zip file. Kindly let me know what should be done for the TV to gain access to the media server.
Update May 20th 2019
I got my Sony TV KD55X7000E to work with UMS
What i did was i Force selected the renderer myself tried many profiles and finally the Sony blu-ray (2013) worked. Takes 2 minutes to start playing a video though depending on the size. But I'm glad it started working.
Thank you UMS team for making such perfect media server.

This forum is mentioned to offer any solution to other users not to ask for help. To ask for help there is the forum "General Help and Support".
Never mind there is a modified .conf you can try.

Samsung QE50Q60T UHD QLED support update
Hi,
I was just playing around with the render config files because of incompatibility issues for the TV mentioned in the subject.
Some details:
It attached the "Samsung-NotCD.conf" to it by default which consists of settings for a much more primitive TV, it stated to be not compatible with .mkv files, so I had issues with some of them(, the TV got them as .avi-s).
I found out that the perfect config file for it would be the "Samsung-UHD-2019.conf" as it also describes "RendererName = Samsung QLED 4K 2019+".
It was only missing my TV-s model name (which is: QE50Q60TAUXXH), so I updated the file.
SO THE CONFIG MODIFICATION NEEDED FOR SUPPORT:
Modify the following 2 lines in "Samsung-UHD-2019.conf":

Hope I could help for some of You out there and spare some headaches.
