It's already been fixed in source. A temporary update to fix it for a3 is here.

Thanks Subjunk, but definitely something weird is happening.
My UMS setup Max Bandwith = 1000, Transcoding Quality in Auto for both mpeg2 and h264.

I tested over a wireless network with same renderer (Kalemsoft), and when I connect far from the router, the speed detection is low (ie Address /192.168.1.110 has an estimated network speed of: 1 Mb/s) and every video file is offered as being transcoded.
When connected close to the same AP, the detected speed is higher (ie 37Mbps) and every file is offered for serving (no transcoding needed as container and codecs are supported natively as per the renderer conf file).

Is there any way to Force Disable this feature? Or any other suggested test to perform?

i just installed this version. i know it's unstable.
i installed this version because i read this thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=802

i'm looking for the function Smart folders/file renaming
but i can't find it in the new version.
Is this feature released or not?

Hi romaruss, the feature is half there now. The smart folders feature isn't there but the renaming one is. You can enable it on the Navigation/Share Settings tab, the "Prettify Filenames" setting.
