Essentially I already did that and the guide I followed on here was the same as the ones I had used before.
I eventually got it working when I switched to Ubuntu Server instead of Raspbian and I had it up and running but it took over an hour and a half to build it's database (which missed 3/4 of the music because it was skipping the Ogg Vorbis) and I couldn't get it to correctly play the MP3's through the browser or through an Xbox 360.
At this point I gave up and switched to MiniDLNA which I got up and running in under an hour.
