Yes I'll take a new haul of mp4 (again) but so far it hasn't been close. It is tricky to live transcode to mp4

Any change with the latest firmware update? I am guessing no but figured I would ask.

I don't know whether this thread is still active. I fixed some issues in my https://github.com/derolf/transcoder

I am running this quite successfully on a Samsung TV to watch recordings and videos. The TV can play everything, so I just use copy-codecs.
