Can you confirm that those files did work in the past? I have been testing my DTS files all morning (I have hundreds) and the only ones that have playback problems are ones that also have problems in every version of the program (including 3-year-old PMS versions)

I can't, as they're new files and I've not been using UMS long.

What causes the files to not work for you/what is it about them that UMS doesn't like?

Curious why UMS wouldn't like them but AirVideo does.

It's usually the renderer (like the PS3) that doesn't like the files in these situations, UMS just passes the file along.
You can download older versions of the program at http://code.google.com/p/universal-medi ... list?can=1 to see if it's new or not.

Yeah that's another bug we're looking at. We could use your help fixing it if you're willing, the thread is at viewtopic.php?f=9&t=642

Yeah, I'll take a wander over there and have a look now. I'm in the middle of a twelve hour night shift now, but I'll be able to help out tomorrow.

I had the same stuttering problems with 1080p .mkv dts files.
I "unchecked" Remux videos with tsMuxeR when possible instead of transcoding
in the MEncoder and FFmpeg settings and my stuttering problem disappeared :)
