It's allways good to solve problems, only a small fraction of those experiencing an issue usually report them.

The workaround will be in the next release.

Working on Galana's system, and...

It's failing to launch again (but it did work yesterday night when I first upgraded to v5.50), and strangely it's not generating a new debug.log file. I've attempted to launch around a dozen times after 11:30pm, but the debug file remains consistent from 10:27am. I've even tried renaming the "current" debug to .log.bak in order to force the generation of a new file - but that hasn't worked either. And yes, I've rebooted.

I've attached the only Debug version I have, and it concludes like this:

If no logfile is generated, either UMS isn't actually launching at all, or it crashes before the log file can be initialized. Not much happens before the logfile is initialized, it's a rare event. I very much doubt this us related to the the permissions issue, that part doesn't come into play until a while after the logfile is initialized.

The problem now, is that since the logfile is never written, we have no information to go on. I really don't have any suggestions, you should check the Windows event log for any information that seems to come from the attempted UMS launch.

It's working so far on the uninstall-reinstall... But it did as well previously Sun(worked)->Mon(didn't). Will update if the problems replicate.
