I have already explained that in a previous post:
In your router:
-there must be some setting / swith for uPNP, it should be set to "enabled".
The firewall settings of your Windows PC:
I checked my own firewall setup on Windows 7 64 bit regarding UMS and I have following incoming 'allow' rules in place that you might want to check in your setup:
- javaw.exe (TCP)
- ums.exe (Any)
- wrapper.exe (Any); you only need this one when running UMS as a service
- port 5001 rule (Any); the default UMS listening port (also if you're using a different port number you have to use that value)
- port 2869 rule (TCP); used for DLNA / uPNP discovery (SSDP)
- port 1900 rule (UDP); used for DLNA / uPNP discovery (SSDP)
I have not included the full path to the executables because that can be different in your setup.
Since you already streamed movies from Xbox it is very likely that these are all in place, but let's check it anyway.

cooltwou, could you set the log to trace (on the bottom of the Logs tab) and restart the server. I'd like to see the output with you attempting your issue
You should do everything SpeedyQ has suggested as it looks as if it's a router/firewall issue

Advertisement Period 30 (in minutes)
Advertisement Time to Live 4 (in hops)
UPnP Portmap Table
Active Protocol Int. Port Ext. Port IP Address
YES UDP 3074 3074 192.168.1.2
YES UDP 54504 54504 192.168.1.3
YES TCP 6882 6882 192.168.1.4
YES UDP 6882 6882 192.168.1.4
YES UDP 3659 3659 192.168.1.5
YES UDP 15528 15528 192.168.1.3
YES TCP 15528 15528 192.168.1.3
Optimus_prime every log i added to this posting has been selected as trace

Hi Optimus,
I'm not sure if it is a firewall issue, but I think it is network related. Just to rule it out, I have asked to check the firewall settings.
Can you eleborate more about this message (see in earlier post of mine) in the trace log:
I'm still puzzled by this line
DEBUG 2013-08-15 14:15:06.861 [New I/O worker #4]
DLNA changes for Xbox 360
What does it mean? Maybe one of the code experts could explain, as I could not find it in the code.

Please help us out guys.

I see all this & what you asked about the Firewall but I just don't know how to check anything to do with Firewall

Please go to the link that I showed you earlier:
http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BS ... us&lang=en
Go to the
step 2 part until screen VI.
There the screendump shows the list with incoming rules.
You should see something similar in your setup.
Any activated rule has a green v checkmark (as in enabled).
So if all the rules that I have mentioned earlier are in wih the green checkmark, you should be ok.
With rightclick on a certain rule you can zoom in on the properties of that rule.
As long as you don't change / save anything you should be ok.
If you want to do a quick test with disabling the whole firewall, you should do what is explained in
step 1.
Remember before hitting this switch, you should physically disconnect your UTP cable to the internet (better be save than sorry)!!!
Then in screen VI, you should then disable the firewall of the
private network.
If your setup works with the disabled firewall, we can enable it again and zoom in some more on the rules to find out what's missing in there.

I did goto that link & I still didn't understand what to do

I can not think of a better step-by-step explanation then described in that link.
So I don't know what you don't understand, because you don't explain.

what is this here: you should physically disconnect your UTP cable to the internet
in the inbound rules:
i see this here Java(TM) Platform SE binary but i don't see this: javaw.exe (TCP)
i don't see this either:ums.exe (Any)
i don't see this either: wrapper.exe (Any); you only need this one when running UMS as a service
none of this either:
- port 5001 rule (Any); the default UMS listening port (also if you're using a different port number you have to use that value)
- port 2869 rule (TCP); used for DLNA / uPNP discovery (SSDP)

Well i'd love to elaborate but the logs aren't set to trace (or showing any trace information). This should show a whole lot more information for me to try and see what the problem is.
Cooltwou: I know you have said you've set the logs to trace, but ensure you set the debug level to "trace" and click the restart server. Do not quit and re-launch as that resets the debug level to "Debug"
I hope i can help more soon
