Another long shot.
I'm not sure if it does help or if it is a good thing to do, as I am no Xbox expert.
But usually it is a good idea of having the latest firmware update of your game console installed.
Did you already checked that and tested with the latest version?

well about that all I know is Xbox tells you if an update is out or not because it gives you a message that says you can upade the Xbox & that is the only way Microsoft did it no other way to update the Xbox

I have looked at what I think is the important part in the log; UMS analyses the file as mp3 and the characteristics within but does not seem to select the right engine to start playback.
So is it a UMS issue after all that has never been tested before with Xbox?

I have highlighted the part in the log (because the log file is huge):

well I just found out Sunday & Monday what you had to have to play music streaming it from the computer to the Xbox you had to have Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center & that is the only way to stream music

No im sure there is a way...there is ALWAYS a way..

Please keep in mind that the first player i tired using was the Video player... so it might have failed because it was looking for a video container in the mp3.

But when i went to the Music player it couldn't find ANYTHING.

I was wondering if this issue was ever fixed? I'm having the EXACT same problem with my XBOX 360.
