same here, with Z3, when using stock "video" app.darkerthanblack wrote:Xperia Z2 can't play any video file.
if i use Bubble UPNP with MxPlayer there are almost no problems... expect for transcoding that loses 100% seek capability. i'm forced to use "streaming" and S/W decoder

hola. como puedo hacer para que no sea detectado mi tv por el Samsung-NotCD.conf y sea detectado por el Samsung-UN65HU9000.conf ya que las configuraciones desde 5.1.1 en adelante no me funcionan bien

Could you add support the new Vizo M43-C1 UHD TV?
I've got a new Vizio 43" UHD television, M43-C1. Currently, UMS 5.1.3 does not find it as a Vizio and registers it as an "unknown renderer"
Attached is the log file. The Vizio's ip address is 192.162.1.185
I would be very appreciative and would also be willing to report back how it performs, etc.

Re: Help us improve support for your devices
i have a Qnap TS-212 NAS (not E or P) that UMS thinks is an ipad (always has).
Here some info on the specs of the nas: https://www.qnap.com/i/en/support/con_s ... one&cid=46
here are some observations why this happens :
Looking in the apple*.conf, ums looks for several things that apple do that my nas also does:
UserAgentSearch = Darwin|AppleCoreMedia|nPlayer|Twonky|8player|yxplayer2|MPlayer |NSPlayer/4|AirAV|AcePlayer
Now i don't know what my nas should return when asked for its useragent string (i'm willing to help find out)
1. but i know Twonky is installed on my nas by default and looking for that alone isn't enough to confirm this is an apple device. More than just Apple devices use twonky.
2. Notice the os in the return string is Linux 3.4.6, i don't know if the ipad returns this too. that might be a clue to the device not being an apple device.
3. It might be a better place to start by looking for AppleCoreMedia, might be more reliable than looking for twonky. If itunes doesn't also return it (idk).
ps: if devs have a way to tell what the device trully returns when you ask for its user agent string i'd be curious to give it a try.

Hello! PMS user for years until I heard about better audio on UMS. First file sounded awesome, and then played '123', and got zero audio. Playing through Sony STRDH820 7.1 Channel 3D AV Receiver and Sony KDL-55W900A Here's my file -
