Newbie question
Newbie question
Hi all,
Been using DLNA servers for years now. I currently use ReadyNAS DLNA and want to setup a dedicated PC for my video media server.
I have a Samsung Smart TV and I cannot get it to recognize UMS. When I select source, I see the ReadyNAS, but do not see UMS.
Here is the question. What needs to be done to use the AllShare Interface?
The Smart TV shows up in Status. Using Windows 10 x64. The firewall is disabled.
Attached is the configuration of the Samsung TV

Re: Newbie question
Found the issue. Apparently the Firewall was not turned completely off. Now the big task is what setting to use so I don't have to disable the firewall to use UMS.
Any suggestions?
