Problems connecting laptop to PS3

Hello,

I know you've probably answered this often before but I have done a ton of google searches and I can't find anything that will fix my problem. Simply put, UMS (on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop) will sometimes decide that no renderers are available. Usually I can fix the problem by restarting either the PS3 or UMS, but today for the past hour nothing has worked. I've searched online, fiddled with the firewall, and no dice. Any advice?

A few things...
  • you have a gang of those ISATAP interfaces. if your not using IPv6 you should disable that on your network card.
  • INFO 2013-09-23 22:18:19.291 [main] The server is now available for renderers to find
that means it found your network card and is using the default port 5001
2 mins later, after rumaging though all those ISATAPs:
    INFO 2013-09-23 22:20:28.039 [background-task-1-restart(1)] Created socket: /192.168.2.3:5001
    It found it again....
  • yet then you managed to package up the log files and no renderers were discovered...
try setting your log level to TRACE so we can get granular details of what's happening.

Also to add to Delflanko's comments, try setting your network card to the one you use. So if it's wired, select that one.
