[HELP] settings to read anything from pc to ps3

Hi all,

I use ums since he was born.
I've always some avi, or mkv, that ps3 can't read (error no. 800288bf).
I ask you all:
is it possible to have a tutorial (with printscreen and codec pack download site) to set my ums correctly?
It runs on a windows 7 64bit home premium.

USM works without installing anything extra... thats the true beauty of this Media Server.

Normally the Default install is ready to go!

If you have issues the best thing to do is set your Logging level to Debug and Pack the Debug logs up and post them here.

Your error code looks like to be associated to DIVX or XVID files (google search). If you could do the above mentioned steps of Packing up your debug logs, and we'll see if we can pin-point the issue then.

We may have to set up UMS to force all AVI's to transcode to get around this issue, but lets see your logs first!
