Samsung UE55ES6340 fast foward/back/remaining time issues

Hello.. When playing most videos, the samsung tv (UE55ES6340) cannot 'tell' the length of the movies (always shows 00:00:00) and fast forward / back buttons do not work.

I am guessing this is due to the transcoding that the UMS does.. The UMS is running on Fedora 32 Linux btw.
Is there a way to enable forward/back to work?

Many thanks,
Turgut Kalfaoglu

Furthermore, the playback stops about 4 minutes BEFORE the movie ends. the TV gives a "Network Error"..
I assume the ffmpeg runs out of streams and when it returns, the UMS stops sending before sending out the entire 400MB of buffer - I had it set for 400MB.

It seems like this is a limitation of that TV. Does it work with any other media servers? If so we could use that to learn how
