prettify file names removes episode name

Post by 44nonymous »

Filebot renames shows using this pattern :

Show Name - 1x01 - Episode Name.extension

ums prettifies as:

Show Name - - 101.extension

I also recommend using 1x01 instead 101.

Is 111 1x11 or 11x1? Season 11 episode 1 vs season 1 episode 11.

It would be great if this was customisable. I prefer the format "Show S01E10 - Episode Title" myself

Also my preferred method. I don't use prettify but I manually change all my titles to this format if they are not already like so.

Buggy (two -- at the end): "Show Name S01E01 -- Episode Name"

It shoud be: "Show Name - S01E01 - Episode Name"

1x01 is better for me, 2 less characters and it is much easier to read. My TV starts scrolling because it does not have a long space for titles, so any saving is good.

S01E01 is the standard format used by most release groups though, so it's not wrong. There could be could be an option for both.
