Framerate problem with Samsung UE55F6750SS (Is there a ready render profile?)
Hello,
with my Samsung UE55F6750SS I'm not able to play videos downloaded from the ARD Mediathek of with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 and a frame rate of 50 fps.
Error message: Framerate 50 not supported
Can UMS reduce the framerate on the fly to 25 fps?
Is there already a suitable render profile for my Samsung TV or where and how do I have to make this adjustment?
Sorry, I am a complete newbie. I hope you can help me!

Good question. We have some advanced options features that you could use for this, if you make sure to use MEncoder for transcoding the video.
If you go to the Transcoding Settings tab, then select MEncoder Video on the left, and click the "Codec-specific parameters" button, you can put advanced instructions in there. There are some examples given in the box up the top, and put your ones in the bottom one. I would try:

Code: Select all
framerate == 50 :: -ofps 25
