10.3 ffmpeg rendering fails

As discussed in the Announcements channel, 10.3 broke rendering for me (and at least one other member). Rolling back to 10.2 solved the problem.
Log file (attached) shows an ffmpeg error, although sadly it's not particularly informative!
Thanks as always for such an excellent product. I've lurked here for some time but never had a problem until now.
