How does the "Online and streaming media" feature work?

Hello,
I found out about UMS yesterday and I'm curious to find out how the feature "Online and streaming media" works.
My TV is Philips 43PUS6554/12 with Saphi OS and I can't install Twitch app on it.
I was wondering if the "Online and streaming media" feature will allow me to play Twitch on my TV?
Can someone please explain it more thoroughly, please?
