Hi,
I accidentally stumbled upon UMS when researching a media playback problem on my PanaTV with Serviio... UMS just worked straight OOB on my headless Linux server 13.10.
So far, everything I have thrown at my PanaTV using UMS just works, whereas serviio just won't
... wasted over half a day on serviio whereas I should not have 
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1519 <--- thanks heaps for simple easy tute and install

Tell you what else works a treat on Ubuntu server "sudo apt-get remove --purge serviio*" & "aptitude search '~i' | grep serviio"
Anyways, THANKS again for wonderful product. It certainly has a permanent home on my server
