I finally got my UMS configured exactly how I want it. Everything is working great, so I decided to install as a windows service and I have done this before with PMS and it was easy. But here...I get this lovely error over and over and over.

Now from reading through this I think I see the problem, I have the java heap size set to 2048 but this wrapper wants it to be 768, how do I change this?

well..i found the configure file and changed the memory setting, still no go.

anyone out there that can help with this?

If you are using 64bit OS, then ensure you install 64bit javs so it goes in the program fies directory
Otherwise you will need to modify the wrapper file

its been almost a full week......and the only help ive gotten is "please install 64 bit java"................really? -deep sigh-

for the Record....I have 64 bit java installed...and PMS wrapper/service works fine....UMS does not...

Do I need to like bump spam or something?

what now???

Have you tried lowering the memory size? take it back to stock XmX-768 see if that helps
