Hello all
I have been using UMS for about a year now purely to watch films videos stored on my Windows 11 pc to access on my Samsung TV and everything has been great. Unfortunately after updating to the latest version it seems my pc will not communicate with the tv through UMS and I am getting UMS unreachable and TV is stuck on loading. I have attached a log hope that someone can understand it and maybe point me in the right direction. Many thanks for you time.

There are a lot of errors about the database the ports being in use so the old UMS process is still running and using them.
Check task manager to see if you can see another UMS process running (javaw.exe) and kill them, then UMS should work properly when you run it again.
If that does not work I think there ware some problems with the installer in 14.8.0 as I had some issues too that were solved with a clean install.

Thank you mik for taking the time to reply, I have uninstalled and reinstalled UMS on my pc and checked the Task Manager and there is only one process of OpenJDK Platform Binary running but I have still got the same issues. I have attached another log if anyone can decipher it as it makes no sense to me at all. Many Thanks

There are no errors this time and the database and ports are free to be used.
I can see it is picking up your Samsung J55xx Series TV so It should be showing in UMS, and UMS should appear on your TV.
There can be a delay for them to find each-other depending on when they announce their presence on the network.
If Your TV does not show UMS but UMS can see the TV then something on your computer may be blocking the signals to the TV.
Check your firewall settings to make sure UMS (javaw.exe) has been allowed through, the firewall rules should have been set when installing but does not always work if using an antivirus that also includes a firewall as it can be more strict.
Your logs do not include your configuration. Could you redo them following the red section above so I can get more information.
