Multiple streams possible?

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to stream different data to 3 different rooms.
Film A to room 1
Film B to room 2
Film C to room 3
From the same server.
Is this possible with UMS?
Thanks in advance,
Sixon

Yes this is possible, but you better have at least a 2.8+ GHz quad-core processor with plenty of RAM (8+ GB). You will probably need a gigabit backbone network as well... especially if you are streaming 720p/1080p/etc content.
You could still run into issues even if you have all the above. Things like your DLNA clients' stability, possible corrupt/etc files, etc... can throw wrenches in UMS' gears. If you get my drift.
All that said, I have been able to stream three 1080p mkv's to three different clients (two PS3's and an Oppo BDP-93) all at the same time with no problems. The Oppo can play the mkv's natively (no transcoding was taking place), whereas the movies were being transcoded by UMS to the PS3's. I have a small business grade network setup so YMMV.

Just wanted to say it works perfect with 3 rooms, with the same 1080p file or with 3 different 1080p files... No issues
